Jenna looks so proud of the sauce for the Shrimp, asparagus, baby bok choy & carrot stir fry. She was surprised how high the heat was and thought her shrimp was burning but turned out crunchy on the outside and juicy inside.

Ivy Marie showing off her stir fry skills. She stir fried zucchini, yellow squash and red bell peppers for the Tilapia in spicy brown bean sauce.  It was a hit!  The Tilapia is melt-in-your-mouth tender and absorbs all the flavors from the sauce.

Rum Renaissance 2011: Show

Boo, have to reload music video, did not work here! See Jungle Walls Miami fresh basil behind mixacologist? Jungle Walls is the venue that host my cooking classes in downtown Miami right on the River.  It's a beautiful loftlike space that showcases living, hydroponic vertical plant walls and mobile towers.

I posted another blog on the actual Rum Renaissance Festival with gorgeous gals and rums from all over the world! If you've never been to one, this really is a great chance to taste a variety of rums.  There are also a week long with tons of activities starting with a Zombie Jamboree at the legendary Mai Kai! Next year, be sure to pop into this fun festival, visit Rum Renaissance for full details.

There was also an Island Lifestyle show full of wonderful Hukilau and Rum related merchandise. Unfortunately, we didn't stay for the bartender competition at the end.

Lunch: Revamped Class Leftovers & Had With Salad

Saved me having to make lunch from scratch today. Pulled together ground turkey left over from Rainbow Lettuce Wrap Appetizer from Wok Star cooking class

Added toufu puffs and Lingham's chili sauce which has a slightly sweet & spicy flavor! Always with a crunchy salad: romaine, grape tomatoes, cashews & cranberries.
